Applied Technolgies are running a promotion to allow clients to trial HP's LeftHand solution, allowing our customers to experience the High Availability and DR features first hand.
IBM Launch the Enterprise 795 and Entry 710/720 POWER7 Servers (September 2010)
IBM extended the successful POWER7 AIX and iOS Server ranges to include new entry level servers and also unveiled the top of the range 795 Server, with scales to 256 processors and 8tb of Main Storage :
'IBM introduces five new POWER7 processor-based systems for large enterprises and midsize companies. The new POWER7 systems run AIX, IBM i and Linux solutions and are designed for both transaction processing and throughput computing workloads like business analytics.'
As with all previous POWER Servers, these systems are highly configurable, so please contact the sales team to discuss your specific requirement.

Roadshow Event on Query and WDS coming soon (May 10)
Applied Technologies and Binary Computers would like to invite you to an update event on IBM Websphere Development Studio (now called Rational Developer for Power), and IBM DB2 Web Query for i. These two IBM’s i/OS products have gone through significant changes over the last few years; with new licensing methods and functionality. It is key that the i/OS User community understands the functional benefits of the new Client tools and the licensing restriction and additional costs associated with them. Large HP Order further cements the HP relationship (April 10)
Applied Technologies were chosen as the partner of choice for a large UK hosting and services company to deliver a joint HP solution for an Global Food Distribution company. The infrastructure was based around two enterprise class Integrity Systems to be integrated with the existing storage solution on site. The total order value (c£300,000) was the largest SMB order that quarter to date. The project was delivered on time and without issues.
