Web Query

Whilst Web Query has been available for a few years, the take up has been low. With i/OS users now reviewing more up to date OS levels, there is now more interest in the new functionality, including Web Query. This tool allows query and business intelligence using live data, avoiding the necessity of relocating it elsewhere. A hugely powerful tool, Web Query provides an alternative to the very expensive B.I. products available in the market place.

Web Query modernises Query for IBM iSeries (Query/400) reports with browser based tools which hide the complexity of accessing data from end users through metadata layer and parameterised reports, improving performance of queries by leveraging advanced IBM DB2 for i/OS optimisation features, reducing IT support efforts with single server based installation and maintenance.

Whilst the product is capable of being installed out of the box, we would recommend that services are taken to provide training and ensure that the SQL is optimised to avoid performance issues. Contact Applied Technologies to discuss our Web Query services and help maximise your use of the product.
